Project Title: Stormwater Management Education Initiative
Areas to be protected: streams and rivers in Northeastern PA
Partners: Clarks Green, Dallas and Port Clinton Boroughs; Delaware Township, Lackawanna College, EPCAMR, Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Nothumberland and Schuykill County Conservation Districts
Focus: survey municipal officials, publish and distribute a stormwater management handbook, develop a website, and host workshops focusing on best management practices aimed at local officials whose efforts include reducing nonpoint source pollution in streams and rivers located in the 10 county region.
