Project Title: River Alert and Information Network (RAIN) Education and Outreach Program

Partners: River Alert and Information Network (RAIN) members and California University of Pennsylvania
Focus: educate and increase awareness of source water protection strategies via three major events (side 2) aimed at thirty-three drinking water suppliers in the Allegheny, Youghiogheny and Monongahela watersheds in eight southwest PA counties.

Project Title: The "Working" Workshop: Streambank Stabilization and Restoration Practices
Area to be protected: South Fork of the Ten Mile River watershed
Partners: Natural Resources Conservation Service and Morgan Township Supervisors
Focus: Develop an informational flyer on septic systems(front) (back) for the local Greene Saver which will reach 40,000 residents of Greene County. The flyer will include information on septic system installation and maintenance, alternative systems and additional information for landowners. It will also cover the impacts of failing on-lot systems and benefits to the watersheds and drinking water.
