Project Title: Nixon County Park Drinking Water Source Display
Area to be protected: East/south branch Codorus Creek, susquehanna River

Partner: York Water Company

Focus: design an educational display and mural of the Codorus Creek watershed, including streams and other watershed features that will educate viewers how public drinking water can be protected both by citizens' individual actions and by water supplier commitment to protecting the source.

Stewartstown Borough, York County; 1,450

Funded by: LWVPA-CEF WREN Project, Drinking Water Source Water Protection Project 2006-2007
Project Title: Stewartstown Storm Water Inlet Stenciling & Education program
Area(s) to be protected:  Ebaugh's Creek, Deer Creek & Susquehane River

Partner(s): Stewartstown Borough Authority, PA Rural Water Association and Hopewell Township
Focus: implement portions of their Source Water Protection Plan with a storm drain-marking program that includes door hangers to provide additional information on drinking water protection in the Borough and Hopewell Township.

Area(s) to be protected: Yellow Breeches Watershed

Focus: design brochures about the importance of protecting the high quality groundwater which is used by the Authority for the community water system

Project Title: Northern York Source Water Protection - Community Supported Education Outreach Project
Area(s) to be protected: Yellow Breeches and Conewago watersheds

Partner(s): Carroll Township, Dillsburg Area Authority
Focus: design a mobile educational display and make presentations that highlight source water protection initiatives in the Yellow Breeches and Conewago watersheds.

Project Title: Watershed Awareness Educational/Outreach Program
Area(s) to be protected: Yellow Breeches Conewago, Codorus, and Kreutz-Muddy Creeks
Partner(s): Wrightsville Borough Municipal Authority, Dillsburg Area Authority, and Shrewsbury Water Authority
Focus: purchase Groundwater Simulators and Enviroscape model to be used by partnering organizations to conduct educational programs within the county that will raise awareness of the need to protect the community's source water of their drinking water supply
